Description and Rules
- this is a scored event
- two patrols play volleyball for 10 minutes
- score is the number of points scored during the game
- underhand serves only
- regular volleyball rules apply; do not make your own rules, as this disrupts the scoring of awards (rules listed below)
- Six (6) players on the court at one time.
- Substitution is permitted at rotation on your serve.
- All games to be 12 minutes in duration.
- Total score to count.
- Any team not available at designated starting time will lead to forfeiture of the game.
- A point is only scored while serving.
- Players must rotate in clockwise direction.
- No reaching over net, touching net or stepping under net.
- A serving team judged to be stalling will loose serve.
- A non-serving team judged to be stalling will loose one point.
- A serve that touches the net is a fault.
- In volleying the ball remains in play if it touches and goes over the net.
- Referees decision is final.
- After five consecutive points a team must rotate.
- No double hits, lifts or re-directions.
- A ball touching the line is in.
- Only one adult player can play at a time.
