- poles for carrier
- lengths of rope for lashing poles together
- stopwatch or watch with second hand
- this is a timed event
- patrol must lash together a triangular carrier to carry one member of the patrol
- the patrol will be judged on the construction
- a penalty of one minute extra will be assessed for poor work
- when the carrier is completed, patrol then carries member through the course without member falling off or the carrier falling apart
- patrol is allowed 10 minutes at this event
- no score is awarded after 10 minutes
