Description and Rules
- this is a timed participation team work event,
- make sure to punch/sign patrol?s event card
- participants tie the line to the top of the pole and hoist it up into the hole
- rope cannot be cut and can only make guy lines
- participants cannot touch the pole with their hands except to lay the rope underneath and tie it
- place pole on ground about 10 feet away from hole
- participants tie lines and pull pole to the hole and then hoist it up
- start timer when the ropes or pole are touched and stop when the pole has settled in the hole
- lift pole out take lines off and return them to their original places
- adult/staff may assist when end of post is in hole by placing foot on post in order to keep it in the hole, while youth hoist post to an upright position
